Rope of Pearls- very traditional for the time in the book, when given to Diana. Very long and beaded on silk. Usually long enough so they went down to a woman’s thigh as described. Diana was taller than most woman in Shadow of Night.
Very, very pretty Oval freshwater pearls -AAA+ oval and a bit round white and pinkish creamy pearls. Delicate and feminine. Very simple and knotted at ends. The ends have two charms -my jewelry tag and two kinds of Ancient Greek tags –
Both need to be cast if you order the “Rope of Pearls”. I re-order often.
One is in Sterling Silver – depicts an ancient Lion and Sun with old Arabic writing – I think of Philippe . Another in Bronze of an Ancient Lion head with ancient Grecian border. Classic ancient Greek. I think of Philippe – of course.
