Katherine of Aragon was the first wife of King Henry VIII and they were married for 24 years. Unfortunately, Katherine was only able to produce one living child, daughter Mary, and Henry divorced her to marry Anne Boleyn whom he believed was young and fertile enough to give him his longed-for male heir.
Katherine of Aragon was initially married to Henry’s older brother Arthur who was to inherit the throne from Henry VII. Within a year of Katherine and Arthur’s marriage, Arthur fell ill and died. When Henry VII died, his second son Henry succeeded him as Henry VIII. The new king was enamored of Princess Katherine and quickly married her as soon as he became king.
The KATHERINE OF ARAGON candle is pomegranate scented in honor of the pomegranate on her badge which represented fertility. This candle has a fruity scent with a subtle woodsy undertone. The unique wooden wick provides a robust crackle and burn.

ABOUT OUR CANDLES
Tudor candles are hand-poured in small batches. Differentiations in color may happen. We use only premium ingredients for our wax, fragrance oils, and liquid dyes. Glass jars and wood wicks provide a robust crackle and burn.
BURN TIME
– 9 oz candles burn approximately 40 hours
– 4 oz candles burn approximately 20 hours
TIPS & SAFETY
– Trim wood wick to 1/4″ above wax
– For optimal crackle, gently remove excess charred wood before relighting the wick
– Burn no longer than 2-3 hours at a time
– Burn on a heat-resistant surface
– Never leave a burning candle unattended
– Keep away from kids, pets, and all flammable objects
