Jane Seymour was the third wife of King Henry VIII and the only wife to bear him a son, Edward, who later became King Edward VI. Henry married Jane only 11 days after the execution of his second wife, Anne Boleyn. Jane was said to have been his favorite wife, most likely because she provided him a male heir, but also because she was the polar opposite of Anne Boleyn – quiet, obedient, and loyal. Unfortunately, Jane died of puerperal fever 12 days after giving birth to Edward.
The JANE SEYMOUR candle is the perfect blend of fresh peaches and magnolia blooms, reminiscent of the country manor Wolf Hall in which she was raised. The unique wooden wick provides a robust crackle and burn.
