This stunning silver rose bracelet depicts the little white rose as an emblem of the Jacobites.
Next to the thistle, the little white rose (Rosa spinosissima) is probably Scotland’s most emblematic native plant. Roses have a long history of use as emblems and the Jacobites used the little white rose as one of theirs. This is most likely the source of the white cockade, a ribbon flower worn by Jacobites to identify themselves to each other.
